Six more stand up comedians have announced they will tape $5 comedy specials at the Waldorf

With the success of the stand up comedians .com website, six more of Vancouver’s favourite comedians will be filming Live at the Waldorf specials at the end of the month.

The specials will be released using the direct-to-fans model, which allow the comedians to be seen as they were meant to be – no commercial breaks and no edited jokes – and it allows them to connect directly with fans of their work.

This type of direct-to-fans model was first made popular by American comedian Louis CK and soon other popular comics followed suit, most notably: Aziz Ansari and Jim Gaffigan.

In May, ten local comics – including Graham Clark, Charlie Demers, Ivan Decker, Erica Sigurdson, Dylan Rhymer, Paul Bae and more – filmed specials at the Waldorf Hotel for direct-to-fans release via thestandupcomedians.com. Now six more of Vancouver’s finest are set to film their own specials.

The tapings will be done in pairs, and tickets for each show are $10. The specials will cost $5 each when they are available for download. Click the links below for ticketing information.
